ETHICAL ADVERTISEMENT

In every advertisings that we usually watch on TV or in the street (in billboards for example) only talk about useless stuff, like TV's, food, new computers and things like that.

Advertising have a lot of power. Advertising tell us the way to be happy, to findo satisfaction is through the consumption of material objects. That "satisfaction" is a wrong concepcion of satisfaction

We could use advertising to promote equalitie of the people, to divulgate the global warming. It is a ethical use of advertising, for the good of the world...

ILEGAL IMMIGRATION (A REALITY)

Firstly of all, we must stop and think about one important question:

- what make lot of people leave their families, their houses, their countries and travel to a unknow place, to a new life, to a new torrent of problems, semetimes even to dead ?

Well, I think the answer is quite simple. Those people just follow a better life, they only want to work, help their family. They only just want a new life, many times running away from wars, from sickness or from hunger.

But, and manly if they are arrested, not by the police, who can just take them to their country but by a "baron, well, they just became slaves with no conditions to work, to eat, well, to live.

We can just call those people, who takes not just their own hope but of their families, friends courage too, "survivers of lucky", because they just need lucky not for get a good jo, a goode way of life, a help, but only for survive.

Racism

Racism...
Racism is a racial discrimination.
Usually we discriminate people with a different color. That’s just wrong!

In my opinion a different color is just another difference like have a different hair cut or a different nose.

So, listen:

Please… don’t discriminate other people because in spite of our differences we all are equal!!!
Remenber:
Racism ruins lives...

FASHION VICTIM, DO YOU WANT TO BE ?

If you have talent, if you have a pretty face (or a boddy) or just if you have been dating with someane famous, you became a "victim" of a big diligence, called media.

After this "trap" , of course you jump to a better life, you begin to be invited to "social parties", your name, (and possible your photos), start to appear in newspappers and magazines, well, your live becomes public and everyone discovers almost everything about you.

With this, you have TWO ways:
- You run from this fame, from the social projectors, and you just follow your way of life;
- Or you became a "fame victim", your identity is delected and you just transform into a media garbage.

So, please, just be yourself, no matter how famous you are, how pretty you are and no matter how many times your name is posted in the media.

Integration

A person who came to a country to take up permanent residence is an immigrant.
People need to emigrate because they can’t get a job in their own country.
They want to improve their life style, earn more money, get a good job and meet other people.
Sometimes they can’t fit in, integration can be a long and difficult process, some people don’t like immigrants (we call it xenophobia).

In conclusion it’s difficult immigrate…our job as citizens is help those people because we are equal!

Being Famous

Fame is a good thing, it means that a person has done something good and is well-known.
But, sometimes, fame can be a negative thing, because famous people get no privacy at all. They are chased away by paparazzi, they just can't go anywhere with a swarm of people chasing them off.
However famous people are like a "God" to some people, they try to copy their way of dressing and thinking.

From my point of view being famous is a bit lame, because we lack a normal and private live and it's hard to be able to integrate with the normal society.

Immigration

Sometimes we hear some sad news about immigrant discrimination. I have a different perspective:
My grandparents immigrated to Canada when my mother and my uncle were only children.
My mother told me that it was easy to adapt because she was young and she learned the language fast, she quickly made friends… My grandparents on the other hand faced some difficulties because the language to them was difficult to understand. Besides all of these problems they got jobs and lived in Canada many years.
My mother came back when she was 13 but my uncle stayed there because he got married…
Today my grandparents remember Canada and miss those times…
Immigration is not that bad!

Pepsi

This is a well-Known commercial in United States staring by Britney Spears. These kinds of commercials are very common in pepsi because they always use famous people to promote their products…this one is not an exception.
In the song Britney tell us that we will find the taste that is in our minds and that somethings never change… «In the joy of pepsi».
Watch the commercial and have fun.

Rise and Fall

This is one of my favorite songs. I think it tells us important lessons about fame and people.
Sometimes when people get famous they forget the people that really like them. They change their values and their way of life.
And that’s why this song is important to me… I’m not famous or anything like that but it reminds me I need to be more like me and less like what people want me to be.
Listen to the song above and read the lyrics.

Crisis

Nowadays when we are watching the news all we hear is about this huge crisis… But some people, instead of saving money, spend all their salary in useless things like fashion magazines, cigarettes, junk food, and expensive clothes.
The main problem is that people don’t have enough money to pay their debts, what that they above their possibilities.
We need to stop with this throwaway society and think of not only our future but specially the future of the next generation. Save money and spend rationally are the solution!
